"Formatting Codes" is a vanilla feature, but is slightly made easier to use in Housing. As the name suggests, Formatting Codes are used to change the format of text. (The ones that change texts' color are also known as "Color Codes")

In Housing, Formatting Codes begin with the ampersand symbol (&). It is then followed by a certain character to form a Formatting Code. (Color Codes override other Formatting Codes, so they have to be used before them)
